Meet the team
Rich is a programmer at Webitects, starting in late 2013. His professional background is primarily based in the ASP.NET/MS-SQL stack, with an ample amount of open source side projects sprinkled intermittently. Webitect's allure was it's design approach, as well as it's smaller, personable size. It provided the perfect atmosphere to work closely with clients and users, and develop the skills to make meaningful websites.
An admitted tools and technology nerd, Rich takes every chance he gets to learn new things from all facets of the development cycle, be it T4 templating out a DAL, writing automated Nunit/Selenium tests to run with the nightly build, or simply aliasing a useful Mercurial command so he has to remember fewer things. While he may never become a true intermediate VIM user, the new perspectives gained through each experience has proved invaluable in Rich's ability to problem-solve, and keep a fresh, open mind.
Rich has a BS from the Illinois Institute of Technology where he studied Computer Science. When not working, he can be found spending time with his family and friends, at the gym, working on side projects, or attempting to sustain the lifestyle of a video-game enthusiast.
